KENYANS GO TO POLLS TO ELECT FOURTH PRESIDENT



7:07 In Kitui Central constituency, voting yet to start in most polling stations. At Kitui Central Primary School, long queues of frustrated voters. Mix up of voting material cited for delay.
7:05 At Donholm Primary School, voting kicked off at 6am with long queues reported.
7.00 Long queues reported across the five Embakasi constituencies.
6:55 At Parklands Primary School, Nairobi long queues reported as early as 4am. Voting at Emali Primary School started at 6.20am although voters had lined up by 5.50am.
6:53 Most polling stations in Meru County opened at 6am with eager voters waiting in line to cast their ballots.
6:52 Voters will elect six candidates when they cast their ballots. These are: President, Governor, Senator, Member of National Assembly, Women Representative and County Representative.
6:50 In Murang'a County, queues formed as early as 4am but polls opened at around 6.30am.
