The Press Association of Zambia (PAZA) has welcomed the launch of the new Zambian Construction newspaper on the market.
PAZA Vice President Amos Chanda said the launching of the newspaper was a bold step taken in the right direction.
Mr. Chanda told ZANIS in an interview in Lusaka today that the move should be hailed by all across the country.
He added that this shows that the media was growing in Zambia adding that the Construction newspaper would add value to the media industry in the nation.
Mr. Chanda said that what PAZA wants to see was the growth of the media so that a lot of people can be informed of what was happening in various parts of Zambia .
He added that this was very important and necessary as it assists people to make informed decisions about issues affecting them.
Mr. Chanda said the launch would not have come at a better time than now as the newspaper would enhance news coverage on the construction sector in the country.
The Zambia Construction Newspaper was launched last evening in Lusaka by Works and Supply Minster Mike Mulongoti.
