ZAMBIA HAS STRONG CHRISTIAN HERITAGE-VISITING ANGLICAN CLERGY

Visiting Anglican Church Archbishop of Canterbury Doctor Rowan Williams says Zambia has a strong Christian heritage.   
Speaking today upon arrival at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport airport (formerly Lusaka International Airport), Arch Bishop Williams told Journalist that Zambia is founded on Christian values of peace, justice and democratic rights for all.
ZANIS reports that he observed that most of the leaders in Zambia who ascends to positions of authority have a Christian background because of Zambian's strong Christian heritage.  
The visiting Clergy also disclosed that the Anglican Church in Zambia is working well.
While in Zambia the Visiting Anglican Archbishop of Canterbury is expected to meet President Michael Sata at State House, before proceeding to meet the first Republican Head of State, Dr Kenneth Kaunda at his offices.
Later in the day, Archbishop Williams is expected to address congregants at the Anglican Cathedral of the Holy Cross.
