SEVEN YEAR OLD BOY DROWNS IN KALABO

A seven year old boy drowned while swimming with his friends  in the Luanginga river in Winela area in Kalabo district of Western province last Friday.
ZANIS reports Kalabo Police Officer-in-Charge Assistant Superintendent Kim Masambo confirming the development in Kalabo,  today.
Mr. Masambo named the deceased as Lubeso Mulemwa of Nasikung’u village in Chief Kaongolo’s area in Kalabo district.
Mr. Masambo said that Lubeso drowned at around 16 00 hours while swimming with his friends as they were queuing up, running  and diving into the river using gymnastic tactics.
The deceased boy’s body was to Kalabo district Hospital where it lain in the mortuary.
It is suspected that the boy hit into the rock at the riverdived into the Luanginga River landed at the base of the river where it was slightly shallow by head and neck that led to the cause of his death.
