FIRST LADY APPLAUDS OUTGOING FAO ENVOY


First Lady Thandiwe Banda has applauded outgoing Food Agriculture Organisation (FAO) representative Noredine Mona for his hard work and contribution to food security in Zambia.
The First Lady noted that the Zambian people enjoyed working with Dr Mona and gained a lot of experience and knowledge from him.
She was speaking at a farewell luncheon held in honour of Dr Mona in Lusaka yesterday.
Mrs. Banda hoped that both working and individual relationships that have been built over the years between Dr. Mona and the Zambian people continues even after he leaves the country and wished him well in his future endeavours.
Speaking at the same occasion, Outgoing FAO Representative Noredine Mona thanked the Zambian government and the entire FAO staff for the good working relationship.
Dr. Mona further thanked the Zambian people and hoped that the new FAO Country Representative will also be accorded the same sustainable working relationship.
